Experience and Qualities

Day-to-day Responsibilities 

  • Stepping in to cover the Head Chef when he is out of the kitchen, including running the pass, ensuring all food that leaves the kitchen meets the high standards expected

  • Working as a team to prepare for al la carte service

  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe work place including fridges and dry stores

  • Working pans section across breakfast & lunch services

  • Trouble shooting problems that arise using initiative and experience with excellent communication 

  • Promote and practice safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies and team member incidents to the manager

  • Follow correct waste management procedures

  • You will be expected to improve upon existing systems using creativity and initiative
