Day-to-day Responsibilities
Stepping in to cover the Head Chef when he is out of the kitchen, including running the pass, ensuring all food that leaves the kitchen meets the high standards expected
Working as a team to prepare for al la carte service
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work place including fridges and dry stores
Working pans section across breakfast & lunch services
Trouble shooting problems that arise using initiative and experience with excellent communication
Promote and practice safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies and team member incidents to the manager
Follow correct waste management procedures
You will be expected to improve upon existing systems using creativity and initiative
